Wrapped Smudge Feather

The feather is wrapped in deerskin (with fringe), and the deerskin wrapping is secured to the feather quill by a knotted design of a black cotton cord. The wrapped feather is decorated with one strand of 4 stone beads and finished off with a leather feather made of deerskin. 

All our Wrapped Smudge Feathers are one-of-a-kind, as each natural component is unique.

NO glue or plastic materials are used.

The Beads we use are as follows; Yellow Opal, Carnelian, Onyx, and White Jade

Our beads are all natural minerals or stone, 1/4” in diameter. The colour varies from bead to bead.

The one row of beads is arranged from the Medicine Wheel teachings; East (Yellow), South (Red), West (Black), and North (White).

Yellow Opal: Yellow Opal inspires joy and invites us to dance wildly, drunkenly, and sensually with the Creator!

Carnelian (red): Carnelian has a soothing and warm grounding energy that makes us feel safe and loved.

Onyx (black): Onyx teaches us the importance of self-mastery, or the ability to harness our own strength and focus, in the pursuit of our most important goals.

White Jade: White Jade’s energy is peaceful, joyful, and wonderfully practical.  It gently encourages us to stop struggling so much and to step outside our ego’s perspective and see the bigger picture.

NOTE: All our Wrapped Smudge Feathers are one of a kind, and will vary in length as the turkey feathers will range from 10 - 12 inches when purchased individually and will range from 8" to 10"  when added as an upgrade to the two different Smudge Kits.
